Family safety & privacy posture
HiSanta is built for children, but it is set up, held and steered by an adult. This page describes how that works today, in plain language, and what we do not claim.
Who holds the account
A HiSanta account belongs to a parent or guardian. That adult creates the family space, adds each child’s profile, and decides what the child can reach. A child does not create their own account and cannot invite anyone on their own.
Who can see your child
There is no public profile, no follower count and no open feed. The only people who can see a child’s progress, letters and celebrations are the people a guardian has invited into that family’s private circle.
- Circle membership is invite-only, and the guardian approves every invitation.
- Notes and messages from circle members can be reviewed by the guardian.
- A guardian can remove a member, and remove content, at any time.
Money and children
A child never sees a real-money purchase path inside HiSanta. Premium seasonal items exist, but they can only be bought and gifted by a grown-up. Everything a child can reach on their own is either free or paid for with Sparks they earned through their own progress.
Earned surprises, without the pressure
Collectible surprises are opened with earned Sparks, never with cash. Odds are published for grown-ups to read, a good result is guaranteed on a clear schedule, and the mechanics deliberately leave out near-misses, loss chasing and expiring timers.
Generated stories and letters
Story and letter content is passed through safety checks before it reaches a child, and guardians can review what has been generated in their family space. If something ever looks wrong to you, tell us and we will look at it.
What we do not claim. HiSanta holds no third-party children’s-privacy certification, safe-harbour seal or independent audit. We are not claiming one, and you should not read anything on this site as one. What is described here is how the product is built and operated today.
Questions about your family’s data
Write to support@hisanta.us and tell us what you would like to know, correct or delete. Please write from the email address on the guardian account so we can confirm who you are before we act on the request.
